Brand New Year, Brand NEw Site

As my past site has had a good run for the time it was up, I thought with the new multimedia technologies and practices it would be a perfect opportunity to give this site a full revamp.

To this extent, I explored many emerging trends within design. Implementing the 960 Grid System philosophy for content layout and delivery was the baseline from where to start. Typekit is a technology which allows you to embed typefaces which are not of the “standard” web set of years past. Even utilizing emerging media tools such as WordPress and Twitter into a site to make it a much richer and dynamic user experience.

Engagement of the user is the end goal of this process. As the field is ever expanding and new technologies come aboard, it allows for web to be a more fluid and dynamic experience.
