Interactive Website
My wife is an avid baker and crafting queen. As she searches websites for ideas and inspiration, the thought of creating her own blog to document her own experiences and successes came to fruition. DIY Dawn was created as a blog exploration into her hobbies and pursuits to then share her knowledge and experiences with others. The function is influenced from Pinterest, but with WordPress managing content and Isotope.js to manage the filtering and resorting into masonry rows of posts. The color scheme was inspired by tangerines and logo from vintage branding. The goal was to make the site feel clean and modern, but with a handmade twist with references to stitches and ribbon.
